SmartAI Hackathon is a global innovation program where students, developers, AI startups,
and Fortune 500 companies collaborate to solve real-world challenges in advanced AI,
robotics, autonomous systems, quantum computing, neuromorphic computing, edge AI,
bio-AI, and other frontier technologies. The program runs on the Wiseman platform by Hurrey.
Who is participating
Fortune 500 enterprises and large corporations sponsoring real industry problem statements
AI labs, research institutions, and academic bodies (universities and engineering colleges worldwide)
AI-first startups and independent developers building advanced solutions
Data and infrastructure companies providing datasets, compute, and tooling
Mentors from industry, academia, and the open-source community
Students and early-career innovators across undergraduate, graduate, and PhD levels
What problems are being solved
Advanced robotics and autonomous systems (self-driving, drones, humanoid robotics)
Frontier AI: agentic systems, multimodal models, reasoning, world models
Quantum computing applications and quantum machine learning
Neuromorphic and edge AI for low-power, on-device intelligence
Bio-AI, drug discovery, and computational biology
Climate, energy, and sustainability challenges using AI
Industry-specific unsolved problems contributed by sponsoring enterprises
Scale
Global participation across multiple geographies (North America, Europe, Asia, and emerging markets)
Thousands of participants organized into multidisciplinary teams
Multi-stage program: application, problem selection, build phase, mentorship, demos, and finals
Timeline spans several months from open applications through final showcase
How it runs on the Wiseman platform
The hackathon is hosted and operated end-to-end on Wiseman, an AI-native learning and
innovation platform built by Hurrey. Wiseman handles team formation, problem-statement
matching, mentor pairing, project workspaces, AI-assisted skilling, progress tracking,
evaluation, and final judging. Participants get personalized learning paths, AI mentors,
access to compute, datasets, and structured collaboration tools throughout the program.
Ecosystem
The SmartAI Hackathon ecosystem connects three audiences: businesses (who contribute
problems, data, and compute), students and innovators (who build the solutions), and
the data industry (who power the underlying infrastructure). Learn more at the
